Microgreens are young edible seedlings harvested at the cotyledon leaf stage. They are considered a superfood packed with antioxidants and other health-promoting nutrients. These super powerful tiny leaves contain even more vitamins, minerals and antioxidants than their full-sized counterparts.
We are a family owned business composed by a third generation of farmers that seeks to provide a more sustainable and healthier form of food while honoring our ancestors’ growing technique (chinampas-floating gardens) applied to the modern life. Our microgreens are grown in a small optimized space, where water gets recycled into an aquaponic system that provides nutrients to our greens. We can grow up to 600 pounds of food monthly year round and we are located in the middle of the sophisticated city of Bellevue. Our microgreens are nutrient dense and a super food because of its nature but also because of all the love and care we put into growing them. I mean what food listens to Mozart from seed to harvest?
